I had a moment to sit down and read this book today. I only read about the first 10 pages before it was time to go build a train with Silas (Ya know the "mom, mom, mom, mom, mom"). Anyway those 10 pages were so inspiring and uplifting that I cannot wait to pick the book up again. I felt so much reverence and peace as I looked at the pictures and read the short message on the side of the pictures. There was one message that really stood out in my mind tonight. "Those who do God's will are not guaranteed comfortable lives. But they are promised that everything, even their discomfort, has meaning in God's plan." I have written about 10 different sentences trying to explain why this quote is so meaningful to me, only to erase them. I am not one that can blog openly about my religion. I am always feeling the need to keep my feelings private about my Heavenly Father. What I will say is............I always feel alone and forgotten when it comes to my most difficult trials. After I read this quote I knew that I was not alone, that my Heavenly Father hears my prayers and that my life, my trials, my happiness all has meaning. Somehow I feel a bit braver now.

My new favorite
I should be accomplishing something off my todo list, but instead I really want to tell all of you how much I love this bar! I HATE folding laundry.............I especially hate the dyer sheets that linger around under my bed, stuck in my sheets, and laying around on my floor. So bounce came out with this handy bar you stick on the inside of your dryer, it does exactly what the dyer sheets do without the annoying floaters. so there you have it, buy theses, end of story!Thursday, March 17, 2011
Some things never change
Today we found out the insemination didn't work.........I am not pregnant, and I honestly am starting to believe that it will never happen for me.
We are still moving forward with our adoption paper work.........I am so excited/nervous for what is to come. Adoption is a miracle, one that I am excited to be apart of again. Please keep our family in your prayers to help us complete our little family.
Thanks for all your love and support friends!

The many stages of Emily
I have had many different hairstyles and thought it would be fun to post a few of them, I hope you enjoy the trip down memory lane with me.
This is my current look. I have NEVER had hair this long and without layers. I am loving having long hair but I definatly miss my short hair. I can't believe I have made it this long without chopping it off.
Here's the short highlighted stage

This is not a good look, ugh!

The Orange Mullet was one of my personal favorites!
